Broadhead Brewery Releases West Coast DIPA

OTTAWA, ON – Broadhead Brewery has announced the release of an “old school beauty you’re sure to enjoy.”

West Coast DIPA (7.6% abv):

This classic West Coast double IPA is brewed with Chinook, CTZ, Simcoe, Amarillo, and Centennial hops, which add endless amounts of hop aroma and enough bitterness to remind you of its throwback to the old-school IPAs and DIPAs.

Pouring a beautiful golden yellow with a dense, lasting off-white head, this beauty offers classic West Coast-style IPA aromas on the nose, including zesty grapefruit and orange, resinous pine, and hints of fresh cut grass. Undertones of bready malt and a hint of honey round out the aroma.

On the palate, grapefruit notes are complemented by hints of tangerine, with resinous pine and grassy hop notes following. The beer is supported by a bready, almost doughy malt sweetness. It has a medium-full body, moderate carbonation, and a slightly oily hop stickiness that lingers throughout each sip.

West Coast DIPA is available now at the Broadhead taproom, retail store and online shop.
