Annex Ale Project Revisiting Quartet of Early Releases for 6th Anniversary

CALGARY, AB – Annex Ale Project has announced that it is marking its 6th anniversary by taking “a second run at first impressions” with new versions of the beers that started it all for the brewery.

As described in the announcement:

We’re revisiting (and if not rewriting, at least editing) the first few chapters of our origin story. This includes our first four beers we brewed, Prologue New England IPA, Bitter Division North American Bitter, Metes and Bounds XPA, and Lil’ Kerouac Dry-Hopped Sour. On our sixth birthday we are taking a retrospective look at our opening beer lineup and we reimagined what these beers could have been if we had known then what we know now. These four “new” beers are a celebration of how far we’ve come and an opportunity to reflect on our journey while exploring new possibilities for Annex’s future.

The four beers will be released tomorrow (Saturday May 13th) at the Annex Ale Project taproom, where they’ll be celebrating the anniversary with $5 burgers from Lil’ Empire Burger, a flash tattoo pop-up from No More Sad Days, and DJ Rob Faust spinning from 1:00 to 6:00 PM.
