Goldenfield Brewery Now Open in Toronto

TORONTO, ON – A new brewery with a mission to “bring craft beer into cultures and communities typically underserved by craft beer manufacturers” has officially opened its doors in Toronto’s North York district.

Goldenfield Brewery has been co-founded by Madhi Naderan, Jay Naderan, and Ethan Chiti, all Persian-Canadians who arrived in Toronto over the last two decades.

Along with head brewer Culum Canally (ex-TWB Co-operative Brewing), the Goldenfield team is aiming to “draw on the sights, sounds, and flavours that inspired them on their travels, while raising a glass to the diversity of the city it was founded in.”

Goldenfield’s initial beer line-up includes Blonde Ale (5% abv), IPA (6.5% abv), Double IPA (9% abv), and Witbier (4% abv), the latter brewed with Persian limes along with the traditional coriander and orange peel.

Goldenfield Brewery is located at 71 Sunrise Avenue in Toronto, and is currently open for retail sales from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Monday to Thursday, 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Friday, and 12:00 noon to 6:00 PM on Saturday. The brewery taproom is currently in the final stages of preparation for a planned summer opening.
