Slake Brewing Releases Super Easy Lager and Iris IPA

PICTON, ON – Slake Brewing has announced the release of a collaborative lager and a new IPA.

Super Easy Lager (3.5% abv):

Last month, we got together with Matt from Toronto’s Burdock Brewery and decided to make an ultra-refreshing summer beer. While admiring the sheep, we asked ourselves if it was possible to make an even easier drinking version of our Easy Lager. We put our world-renowned big brains together and we’re pleased to report the answer is yes.

Super Easy isn’t your average light lager. We decocted it to extract a more complex malt character from the 100% local Barn Owl Malt we use in all our beer.

Iris IPA (6.5% abv):

Iris was brewed with some very nice Galaxy hops from Australia. We get flavours of fuzzy peach, five alive, and passionfruit on this one. It’s soft, pillowy, and a little sweet. Not too bitter!

Both beers are available now at the Slake taproom, retail store, and online shop.
