NORTH VANCOUVER, BC – Shipyards Brewery District and Lonsdale Quay Market have announced summer pop-up project that puts the spotlight on the breweries and other craft beverage makers of North Vancouver.
The Brewyard is a taproom and patio at Lonsdale Quay that is offering beer from the area’s seven breweries – La Cerveceria Astilleros, Beere, Braggot, House of Funk, North Point, Shaketown, and Streetcar – plus cider from Windfall, wine from Garden of Granite, and spirits from Copperpenny.
Located in the space that was previously home to Green Leaf Brewing, and which will soon be taken over by Strathcona Beer Company, The Brewyard is described by Vancouver Is Awesome as having “a casual atmosphere, featuring picnic benches, artificial turf, a jumbo Connect Four game and a photobooth,” along with “a bright patio location, facing thousands of tourists pouring out of the adjacent SeaBus terminal.”
Maps and other information about the local breweries are available, and while no food is served on-site, patrons are welcome in bring in food from other local businesses.
