HALIFAX, NS – Good Robot Brewing has announced the launch of a new location near the Halifax Common, a large and popular park known to locals as The Commons.
Good Robot on the Commons is an outdoor beer garden that features more than a dozen Good Robot beers on tap, and food by Asado Wood Fired Grill. The brewery also notes that dogs are welcome (or more accurately – “humans welcome, puppies preferred”).
The lot also includes a building that was originally a mechanic shop, and then operated as seafood restaurant Hook ‘Em and Cook ‘Em for less than a year in 2021 due to the impact of COVID restrictions. Good Robot has not yet announced if it has any plans to open it as an indoor taproom.
Good Robot on the Commons is located at 2223 North Park St. at the corner of Nora Bernard St. (formerly Cornwallis St.), and is open from 12:00 noon to 11:00 PM daily, weather permitting.
