Whistle Buoy Brewing Releases Wild Cherry Mixed Fermentation Ale

VICTORIA, BC – Whistle Buoy Brewing has announced the release of a new limited edition beer to mark the brewery’s fourth anniversary.

Wild Cherry Mixed Fermentation Ale:

After 15 months in the making, we finally present to you our first mixed ferment wild ale! Made with local pilsner malt, wheat, and a fruit-forward saison yeast. After nine months in Pinot Noir Barrels from Rathjen Cellars with a unique blend of Brett, Lacto and Pedio from famous Belgian sours, we then mixed it with 160lbs of local Cherries that underwent carbonic maceration. After a six week rest, we achieved this juicy wild cherry beer. Slow is beautiful. Enjoy.
