PEMBROKE, ON – After nine years in business in Ontario’s Ottawa Valley, Square Timber Brewing has announced that it will be ceasing operations next month.
In a video posted on Facebook and Instagram, owner Marc Bru explained that he had been planning a move and expansion to a larger location in Pembroke for several years, but delays and cost increases due to COVID derailed those plans, leading to his decision to close the brewery.
Square Timber’s last day of business with be November 18th. More information on the closure, including details of a one-day sale of beer and merchandise at the brewery warehouse, will be announced soon on social media.
