SLAVE LAKE, AB – The Daily Beer reports that Dog Island Brewing has opened its taproom to the public for the first time.
Founded by friends and homebrewers Ben Fiddler and Chad Paulson, Dog Island released its first beers in August at several local bars and pubs, but was awaiting final approvals to serve and sell beer at the brewery.
The first Dog Island taproom session took place last Friday October 28th from 3:00 to 7:00 PM, with seven beers available in pints and growlers. Dates and details of upcoming openings will be announced on the Dog Island Facebook page as they are confirmed.
