DAUPHIN, MB – A new brewery that has already started winning awards is now open in Dauphin, a small city in Manitoba’s Parkland Region.
Obsolete Brewing has been founded by Ryan Vanderheyden, Steven Sobering, and Kevin Steinbachs, with head brewer Marco Bardelli overseeing the brewhouse.
The brewery and taproom had a soft opening in July, with the official grand opening taking place this past Saturday September 16th.
The 16 beers on tap cover a wide variety of styles, with one of them – Hourglass Coffee Kölsch (4.8% abv) – being a gold medal winner at the Prairie Beer Awards earlier this year.
Obsolete Brewing is located at 24 2 Ave NW in Dauphin, and is open Monday to Thursday from 4:30 PM to 11:00 PM, and Friday to Sunday from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM. For more details, see the brewery’s website and pages on Facebook and Instagram.
