WINDSOR, ON – Food blog WindsorEats reports that gourmet burger restaurant Motor Burger will soon be serving a line-up of beers brewed on-site, making them Windsor’s only brewpub following last month’s closure of Charly’s Brew Pub & Grill.
Set to be presented under the name Motor Craft Ales, the beers being created by brewmaster Donovan McFadden in conjunction with owners Gino Gesuale and Jay Souilliere will include such styles as “Amber Pale Ale, Cascadian Dark, India Pale Ale, and a lighter Lagered Ale.”
The public debut of Motor Craft Ales will take place on May 26th during the 2nd annual Bikes & Beers cycling tour being presented by WindsorEats. The tour will feature food and beer sampling at several places in Windsor, including Motor Burger and Rino’s Kitchen, and a preview of the soon to reopen Walkerville Brewery. Tickets for the ride are $40, with proceeds to benefit Returns for Leukemia.
Following the Bikes & Beers preview, it’s expected that Motor Craft Ales will be on tap at Motor Burger starting June 1st.
