TORONTO, ON – Almost exactly a year after soft launching with Sass On The Side Brown Ale, a house brand for Toronto’s beerbistro restaurant, Shillow Beer Co. has announced the release of its second and flagship brand.

Bitter Waitress Black IPA is a 6.5% abv dark ale with the following description:

Bitter Waitress Black IPA is a medium-bodied beer that aims to be complex yet balanced. Dark roasted malts give the beer an opaque black color, and intense notes of roasted grain and black licorice. Loads of German Magnum hops were used to give the beer a whopping 86 IBUs of gentle bitterness, while Willamette and Ahtanum provide fresh, earthy flavors and aromas.

Bitter Waitress is being brewed under contract at Cameron’s Brewing in Oakville, and is available now in 473 ml cans selling for $2.95 at select LCBO locations, and on draught at several craft beer bars in Toronto and surrounding area.
