VANCOUVER, BC – Strange Fellows Brewing has announced the release of a new seasonal beer brewed in honour of everybody’s favourite child-stealing Christmas demon, Krampus.
Krampus Dubbel is a 9% abv strong Belgian-style ale with the following description:
Brewed with Belgian dark malts & candy sugar, this abbey style double is rich with the flavour of dried stone fruits and subtle toffee notes. With its understated hop bitterness, and subtly sweet character, this deceptively alcoholic beer has a lasting warming affect on the constitution. Just the thing for a cold winter’s night.
Krampus Dubbel is available now in the Strange Fellows taproom, and a Krampusnacht release party for the beer will take place at the brewery on Thursday December 10th from 7:00 to 9:00 PM, featuring beer samples, an artisans market, and a visit from Krampus himself.
