VANCOUVER, BC – R&B Brewing has announced details of the latest release in its Mount Pleasant Series, named for the East Vancouver neighbourhood where the brewery has been located since opening in 1997.
Lavender Saison is a revival of an earlier beer in the series, which was released a year ago. Slightly renamed but otherwise unchanged, it’s a 5.7% abv and 21 IBU saison described as having “subtle floral notes of French culinary lavender [that] combine with spicy notes from a blend of Belgian and French yeast strains.”
The limited edition Lavender Saison is available now in 650 ml bottles and growler fills at the R&B brewery and taproom. Bottles will also be available at select private liquor stores while supplies last.
