STRATFORD, ON – The London Free Press reports that a brewery slated to open this spring in Stratford, Ontario has released its first two beers at a pair of establishments in the city.
Herald Haus Brewing is currently under construction in the Herald Building at 19 Marketplace, the original home of the Stratford Herald newspaper.
The brewery’s flagship brand, a lagered golden ale called H2, made its debut in early February at The Hub and Bard’s, restaurants at 27 Marketplace which share ownership with Herald Haus. A second beer, Dingman Dark, went on tap at the same locations last week.
Herald Haus is expected to open its taproom and retail store to the public in May 2018, just in time for this year’s Stratford Festival.
