LUNENBURG, NS – A restaurant and bar in the historic town of Lunenburg on Nova Scotia’s South Shore has announced plans to open an on-site brewery later this year.
As reported by Maritime Beer Report, Shipwright Brewing will be located in the Grand Banker Bar & Grill at 82 Montague Street, and will produce beer to be served at the bar alongside the selection of Nova Scotia craft beers that the Grand Banker is already known for. The house-brewed beers will also be available to take home in growlers.
In the longer term, a larger brewing facility will be set up at 301 Victoria Road – an address that was previously home to the Fish Net Diner – with the smaller system in the Grand Banker to remain in operation for the brewing of one-off and limited edition beers.
