The Public Brewhouse & Gallery Now Open in Steinbach, Manitoba

STEINBACH, MB – A new “microbrewery, tasting room, and rural contemporary art gallery” has opened its doors in Steinbach, Manitoba.

The Public Brewhouse & Gallery has been founded by Stephanie Klassen, Jordan Kroeker, and Alexandra & Jordan Ross. It officially opened yesterday (December 15th), and describes the inspiration behind its name and mission as follows:

The public square is traditionally a multi-functional space in the heart of a community. It is a site for celebrating life, exploring culture, engaging in debate, and making a living. It is an open and accessible place for leisure, information, sustenance, and relationship.

In addition to offering beers brewed on-site and featuring work from local artists on the walls, The Public also owns and operates The Tiny Gallery, a portable viewing booth that is “dedicated to making contemporary art accessible to folks who live in rural Manitoba.”

The Public Brewhouse & Gallery is located at 301 Main Street in downtown Steinbach, and is open from 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM on Wednesday to Friday, and 12:00 noon to 11:00 PM on Saturday. For more details, see the brewpub’s website, Facebook, and Instagram.
