Something In The Water Brewing Now Open in Toronto

TORONTO, ON – Two years after debuting with a contract-brewed version of its Lee River Blackberry Vanilla Sour (4.9% abv), Something In The Water Brewing has announced the official debut of its bricks-and-mortar location in Toronto’s Liberty VIllage.

Co-founded by partners Steve Waugh, Mike Lee, and Rick Tanton, SITW is opening today (Tuesday May 24th) with a beer line-up that includes the flagship Lee River along with five other brands – Rocky Point Lime Lager (5% abv), Garrison Creek Local Pilsner (4.5% abv), Pancake Bay Sweet Brunch Stout (5.3% abv), Big Waterway New England IPA (6.5% abv), and Painted Lake Peach Crisp Berliner Weisse (3.8% abv) – available on tap and in cans to go.

The bar is also offering a selection of wines and spirits – including SITW’s own Grace Bay Rum Cask Canadian Whisky – as well as several non-alcoholic beverages, plus snacks from a variety of Ontario producers including The Olive Box, Knotty Pretzels, Humble Chips, Shriner’s Creek Kettle Popcorn, Bliss Dough, Chuckleberry Trading Co. Cheesecake, and The Whimsical Crispie Company.

Grand opening week will also feature food pop-ups from Wafel Huis (Tuesday, May 24th), Roll This Way (Wednesday, May 25th), Chuckleberry Trading Co. (Thursday, May 26th), and Rodney’s Oyster House (Friday, May 27th), plus entertainment and prize giveaways.

Something In The Water Brewing is located at 151 East Liberty St. in Toronto, and is open from 12:00 noon daily with the exception of Mondays. For more details including full business hours, see the brewery’s website and pages on Facebook and Instagram.
