- Greg C. is drinking a Trappist Holiday Ale by Spencer Brewery at King & Dufferin1+ year old bottle. Aroma of port and spice, notes that follow in the flavour plus cherry & menthol. Some booze heat despite the age. Nice.
- Greg C. is drinking an Oude Geuze (Vieille) by Brouwerij Oud Beersel at King & DufferinNot as lip-puckeringly sour or mind-bendingly complex as some lambics, but still an old fave that I always enjoy.
- Greg C. is drinking a No Love Lost Sour Cherry Saison by Mascot Brewery at King & DufferinDelivers what the name promises - a rather good Saison laced with sour cherry that is unmistakably present but not overpowering.
- Greg C. is drinking a Coffee Oatmeal Stout by Bellwoods Brewery at King & DufferinSurprisingly good for a 20-month-old bottle. Coffee is still nice & punchy, good notes of chocolate, oats & nuts in the background.
- Greg C. is drinking a Dueces by Mascot Brewery at King & DufferinPretty much a textbook IIPA with no especially distinctive qualities. Finish is a bit harsh, but could be evidence of the high abv. It’s OK.
