CHARLOTTETOWN, PE – The Prince Edward Island Brewing Company has announced it will be presenting the 1st annual Prince Edward Island International Beer Festival next month at the new Charlottetown Event Grounds.
Part of the Fall Flavours Culinary Festival, a series of food and drink events happening throughout the province in September, the Festival will be taking place on September 28th and 29th, and will feature beer from a number of breweries in the Maritimes and beyond. In addition to PEI Brewing, other Atlantic craft breweries including Pumphouse Brewery, Picaroons Brewing Company, Garrison Brewery and RockBottom Brewpub will be participating, along with Molson Coors, Labatt, and an assortment of European imports.
Along with the beer, the Festival will feature food created using local ingredients, and live entertainment in two tented areas. Tickets for the three tasting sessions – Friday evening, Saturday afternoon and Saturday evening – range in price from $45 to $55, and are available now on the Festival website.
