Muddy York Releases Storm Glass IPA

TORONTO, ONMuddy York Brewing has announced the release of a limited seasonal release inspired by a barometer used by early Victorian seafarers.

Storm Glass IPA takes its name from the storm glass barometer invented by Admiral Robert FitzRoy, the captain of the HMS Beagle, which carried Charles Darwin on his famous round the world voyage.

The 7.2% abv and 50 IBU ale is described as follows:

This late-hopped, New-England style I.P.A. is focused on the flavours and aromas of Equinox and Amarillo hops, elevating their inherent tropical qualities to the forefront. Slightly cloudy, with big passion fruit notes, Storm Glass I.P.A. won’t predict today’s weather, but we predict it will be in your glass this spring and summer.

Storm Glass IPA is available now in 500 ml bottles at the Muddy York retail store and on draught at select bars and pubs in Toronto.
