Bench Creek Brewing Villainous Series Continues with Moreau Tropical Stout

YELLOWHEAD COUNTY, AB – Bench Creek Brewing has announced the latest release in the Villainous Series, a monthly series of limited edition canned small batch beers that are named after infamous movie and TV villains.

Moreau Tropical Stout (8% abv) is named after the title character in The Island of Dr. Moreau – specifically, Marlon Brando’s portrayal in the 1996 film adaptation – and is described as follows:

Permit us to explain something of the devil as we know him. For we’ve seen him in our microscopes, and metaphorically speaking, we’ve cut him to pieces… An unnaturally delectable tropical stout brewed with toasted coconut throughout. Understandably this must come as a shock to you, but you see we’ve achieved near perfection with the addition of cinnamon sticks melding with vanilla beans and molasses. The result of painstaking experimentation, it is devilishly sweet, with a touch of stout roastiness, velvety mouthfeel, and intense fruity esters. We are striving to create some measure of… refinement.

Moreau Tropical Stout will be released today in the Bench Creek taproom and shop, and will be available in select liquor stores in Alberta starting this weekend.
