CHARLOTTETOWN, PE – PEI Brewing has announced the release of a new limited edition beer created in collaboration with a local coffee roastery and café.
Transmitter Coffee Stout is a robust stout brewed with coffee from the recently opened Receiver Coffee Company. It’s described as follows:
Locally roasted coffee brings a new dimension to our stout. Intense coffee aromas dominate but are buoyed by a toffee-like malt sweetness. The finish is silky-smooth thanks to the addition of oatmeal.
Transmitter Coffee Stout is available now in the PEI Brewing taproom and retail store on draught and in a limited run of 750 ml wax-dipped bottles. A release party will be taking place tonight (September 17th) from 4:30 to 7:00 PM at the brewery, featuring samples of the beer as well as Receiver’s Cameron Block Blend, the coffee used to make Transmitter.
