VANCOUVER, BC – Beer Me BC reports that a new brewery has quietly set up shop in East Vancouver in a location that will be quite familiar to local craft beer drinkers.
Doan’s Craft Brewing – founded by brothers Mike & Evan Doan and partner Kevin Sharpe – opened last Friday at 1830 Powell Street, a spot that was the original home of Powell Street Craft Brewery before it moved last autumn.
Doan’s has launched with three brands – Kölsch, Altbier and Rye IPA – available to sample on-site or take home in growlers. Additional styles are planned to follow in the future as time and demand allows.
