Mucho Oro Lager is a 5.2% abv and 15 IBU golden later with the following description:
There was Mucho Oro to be found in the Cariboo, but no one said it would be easy. Just like the elusive gold nugget, this lager is worth the effort. As fresh and crisp as the spring water flowing from the Cariboo Mountains, Mucho Oro is crafted in a style reminiscent of the California Common steam beer popular with the early miners who rushed north to seek their fortune in BC. Pilsner and British style pale malt lend a slightly sweet finish that compliments the conservative contribution of the American hops in this easy-drinking beer.
Mucho Oro is available now in a limited run of 9200 bottles at select liquor stores and pubs throughout British Columbia. 10% of the profits from the beer will be donated to the Royal BC Museum Foundation.
