FERNIE, BC – Fernie Brewing has announced the return of a beer in its IPA Series, and a brand new release in its Sour Series.
Nomad Wild IPA (6.3% abv) is back for a second year, and is described as follows:
A wilderness wanderer’s dream, our Nomad Wild IPA packs a pineapple punch, with overripe fruity characteristics, and an untamed wild yeast. The Sabro hop offers pineapple and stone fruit notes, while the Enigma hop brings raspberry, red currant and Pinot Gris to this exciting beer.
Encore Tart Saison (5.8% abv) is a new sour beer with the following notes:
Encore sees us combining two of our favourite types of brew – Farmhouse Ales and Sours. Brewed with Grains of Paradise for peppery and citrusy notes, you can expect a dry, slightly sour Saison, with just a subtle tartness to compliment the Saison yeast. A pop of flavour, perfect for spring.
Nomad is available now at the Fernie Brewing taproom, retail store and online shop, and select beer retailers in British Columbia and Alberta. Encore will follow on Thursday March 4th via the same channels.
