ORO-MEDONTE, ON – Quayle’s Brewery has announced the release of its latest limited edition ale.
Barn Board Patersbier (4.2% abv):
A Patersbier or “Father’s Beer’ is a low alcohol and highly sessionable Belgian amber ale. It’s believed that the Trappist monks created this style of beer so that they could drink this beer during the day and it wouldn’t impair their daily activities. Something of a modern day lawnmower beer for monks!
Barn Board is an easy drinking ale with light fruit and spice from the saison yeast, and caramel and honey flavours from the malt. Given that we are getting into the colder, winter months, this could be a great snow shovelling beer!
