Main St. Brewing Releases Three Garage Series Beers & VCBW Collaboration Ale for 9th Anniversary

VANCOUVER, BC – Main St. Brewing has announced that it is marking its 9th anniversary with the release of three new installments in its Garage Series of limited edition barrel-aged beers, as well as a collaboration beer for this weekend’s VCBW Craft Beer & Music Festival.

The new Garage Series beers include a 9th Anniversary Brett Pale Ale (5.8% abv), a Piquette-Style Ale (6.4% abv) brewed with pinot noir pomace from Summerland’s Pamplemousse Jus Natural Winery, and a Golden Apricot & Noyaux Sour (7.5% abv) that used organic apricots and their toasted pits (or noyaux) from Blackbird Organics Farm in Cawston.

For the VCBW collaboration, Main St. teamed up with Port Coquitlam’s Patina Brewing and Maple Ridge’s Silver Valley Brewing on a Cold IPA (7.2% abv).

All four beers are debuting today at the brewery’s 9th anniversary party, with music by DJ Glyndor starting at 3:00 PM, and by-donation beer tastings from 4:00 to 6:00 PM to raise funds for the Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre.
