SCOTLAND, ON – Meuse Brewing has announced the release of a new small batch sour ale.
Wijndruif Golden Sour (5.5% abv):
After aging in oak for many months with a mixed culture of yeast and bacteria, this golden sour ale was then aged on sémillon grapes, also known as Wyndruif, for several more weeks. Finally, it was bottled and allowed to condition. The resulting sour beer is spritzy, light, refreshing, and mildly funky with an underlying sparkling white wine character. We get notes of spice and fruit, particularly cinnamon and pear.
Wijndruif is available now at the Meuse taproom, retail shop, and online store.
