CALGARY, AB – Annex Ale Project has announced the release of a new collaboration with Ontario breweries Merit Brewing and Indie Ale House.
Grime & Punishment Wild Imperial Stout (10% abv):
Brewed with crystal and dark malts, it was introduced to Brettanomyces in our foudres, creating a beer of unparalleled strength and flavour. Patiently nurtured over the span of 17 months within our oak foudres, this robust beer then underwent an additional six weeks of conditioning in cans and bottles, courtesy of champagne yeast. Grime & Punishment stands as a postmodern interpretation of the classic Russian Imperial Stout, boasting prominent notes of raisins, chocolate, and a full-bodied richness.
Grime & Punishment has been released in both 355 ml cans and 750 ml bottles, and is available now at the Annex taproom and online shop, and soon at select beer retailers in Alberta.
