TORONTO, ON – Burdock Brewery has announced the release of a vintage edition of one of its flagship beers.
Tuesday Saison: 2020 Vintage (5.3% abv):
Back in 2020 we bottled a very small batch of Tuesday under cork and cage. Here’s why:
Tuesday saison is an ever evolving beer. It’s can-conditioned. Meaning it undergoes a re-fermentation in can that gives it carbonation and helps keep the beer shelf stable. Because of this it that ages really well and over time the beer evolves/changes. After 1-6 months Tuesday is bright, herbaceous, hoppy and pineapply. From 6 months to 1 year it’s starts to become more malt forward, a little rounder, more full bodied. After 1 year it can develop beautiful fruity / tropical funk / fruit punch with hay aromas and flavours.
