Dageraad Brewing Releases Antigoon Strong Golden Ale

BURNABY, BC – Dageraad Brewing has announced the release of its latest Belgian-style ale.

Antigoon (9% abv) is named after Druon Antigoon, a mythical giant who guarded a bridge over the River Schelde in Antwerp. It’s described as follows:

Antigoon is a strong golden Belgian-style ale in the tradition of beers like Duvel, Piraat and Delirium Tremens. It’s an easy-drinking 9%-er, with a complex bouquet of fruit and Slovenian and Czech hops, and a deceptively sweet palate. It’s not actually sweet, in a sugary, malty way; all that sweetness you’re tasting is actually sweet, cleanly-fermented ethanol. This giant is a thing of beauty, but be careful, he’s surprisingly stealthy for such a big guy, and he can sneak up on you.

Antigoon is available now at the Dageraad taproom and online shop, and select private beer stores in British Columbia.
