Ontario Brewing Awards 2012 Winners List

TORONTO, ON – The winners of this year’s 9th annual edition of the Ontario Brewing Awards were announced this evening at a gala event at The Beer Academy in Toronto.

The winners were chosen from a pool of 167 beers submitted by 33 breweries from across the province. BJCP-certified judges chose the Gold and Silver winners, while a group of non-certified beer aficionados awarded the People’s Choice in each category.

  1. Hard to believe that the tasting judges have taste buds. What an disgrace…..they should be ashamed or at the very least start drinking some decent beer!!

      There are many good selections here. You also have to remember this is the Ontario Brewing Awards, Ontario is still a little behind in the craft beer market and I think it’s starting to take off.

      I am a huge fan of Muskoka Brewery, especially their seasonal’s (Spring Oddity anyone?).

        Yikes. I guess if you like metal in your Pale Ale.

        1. Pretty sure it is brewed and packaged by Trafalgar under contract. Maybe you got a bad bottle. I’ve had decent luck with it….maybe give it another try?
