The Church Brewing Releasing The Luxury Dubbel

WOLFVILLE, NS – The Church Brewing has announced the release of a new Belgian-style ale that was “brewed in honour of the great traditions of the Trappist and Monastic breweries.”

The Luxury Dubbel (7% abv) was brewed with Franco-Belge and Munich malt from Horton Ridge, plus special dark Belgian Candi sugar, and is described as follows:

A rich chestnut with burnt copper hues and a dense eggshell head. Big spicy cloves on the aroma with caramelized sugar, plums, and figs. The flavour is full of stewed fruit, caramel, and that clean candi finish that doesn’t linger due to the lack of residual sugar and high carbonation. C’est bon.

The Luxury will be available tomorrow (December 20th) in cans and on tap at The Church, and will also be pouring on draught at select beer bars in Nova Scotia.
